ACDS offers PK3 through 8th grade enrichment courses in the Arts, Music, Drama, Sports, and Digital Technology with 3D creation capabilities.

ACDS has a history built on traditions at every grade level.

Over 60% of ACDS students score  in the 90th percentile on standardized tests.
-Over 70% of students (6th-8th Gr.) score in the top 10% of CTP (standardize test).
-100% of 8th grade students taking the Algebra I EOC exam passed & 58% scored at the highest achievement level.
-60% of 7th graders have qualified for Duke TIP (Talent ID Program) Talent Search

Smaller classroom sizes (average of 17 per class) ensure individualized instruction.

100% of ACDS students  participate in Character Education.
-Teen Empowerment and Cyber Safety programs are offered for upper grades.

Over 60% of ACDS Middle & Jr. High students participate in sports.

World Language studies span PK-8th grade.
-Over 20% of the 8th grade class receives national medals in Spanish I

ACDS graduates qualify to take multiple high school credits into their freshman year of high school.

Opportunities for 8th grade students to travel abroad and to explore Washington , D.C.

ACDS has earned the Region IV Science Fair Sweepstakes Leadership Award for over 20 consecutive years.

Over 80% of ACDS District Rally participants receive Top Five awards.

100% of ACDS faculty & staff is dedicated to Growing the Bright Futures of students
-43% of our educational staff have advanced degrees
-All ACDS teachers are either certified in their field of study.

Over 700 years of combined teaching experience on the ACDS faculty.

How can I make a gift?
Donations may be made by cash or by credit card. Checks should be made payable to ACDS and mailed to ACDS Annual Fund Drive, 5603 Bayou Rapides Road, Alexandria, LA 71303. You can make a credit card donation by clicking on the give online button and following the instructions on the secure gift form. All donations to the annual fund drive are tax deductible as allowed by law. ACDS is 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization.
